Positive behaviour for learning
Our school commenced positive behaviour for learning as a key strategy for achieving and maintaining a safe, supportive and disciplined learning environment for our students and staff.

Positive school climate
Implementing PBL has been pivotal in maintaining a positive school culture in which relationships are built on mutual trust and respect. PBL has enhanced the learning and teaching climate of the school by creating a common language around social competency, for both students and staff.
We have created visual cues to remind students of our school's expectations. There are posters in all classrooms, murals in the assembly area and messages on our school's notice board.
Positive reinforcement
We celebrate our successes as a school through weekly assemblies where expectations are reiterated, awards for good behaviour are presented and a raffle draw of positive behaviour slips conducted with winning students having morning tea with the principal.
Mudgeeraba State School has a very proud history dating back to the late 19th century. The school has developed many strong traditions which have set a firm foundation for us to meet the challenges of an ever-changing educational and social context.
